I’m just in love with this glaze. It works amazing on my specled clay as well as on black clay. It makes mugs, coffee carafes and plates look cool. And it’s not an even glaze, in the sense that each item comes out of the kiln a bit different, which I also love. Anyway, opening the kiln today was lovely and it felt like Christmas (that means everything came out nice;) #dasaspottery #kilnopening #christmasfeeling #happyme #coffeecarafe

Most of my weekends are reserved for Max&Me time. As he’s getting older, I think we both have this need to be doing more things together. Walks, cuddles, playing. He’s 9 years old now, and since it’s a well known fact that big dogs (and german boxers in particular, but not only them) don’t have a high life expectancy, I’m very much aware of the time we have left together. These are not pleasant thoughts and feeling, but they’re real and have to be acknowledged so as to be (hopefully) more prepared for what inevitably lies ahead. On a brighter note, this is a lovely collab I do every once in a while with www.goodbed.si - a wooden tray with ceramic bowls for dogs (and cats). I’m trying to listen to my inner voice more ofte

I’m trying to listen to my inner voice more often and I’ve come to a realization that I need to start making some changes to my ceramic works. That doesn’t mean I’m not making some of the things I’ve been making so far, but something in me is crying for a change. This is definitely one of the first changes. This glaze is just crazy gorgeous on black clay and I’m definitely making more things with it.
